Legbars

Legbars lay big beautiful blue eggs. They are an alert and active breed. Their quirky crest and beautiful pattern makes them truly unique. Bonus: this breed is auto-sexing.

Black Copper Marans

The copper luster of this breed as well as their dark egg color make this a very sought after breed. The females truly have a sweet temperament, while the males can be unpredictable. When adding BCMs to a flock, many people look for egg color, others look for Standard bred poultry, and there are some in between that truly want both. That is where we come in. Our birds are bred to the Standard but also bred for egg color. We work the hardest with this line to give you the best of both worlds.

Olive Eggers (F1)

Gathering your first olive egg is truly a magical experience! Our F1 Olive Eggers are the sweetest little girls with adorable mohawks. They lay large beautiful Olive Eggs and are very regular layers. They are a Legbar/BCM cross and they are sexlinked (so they can be sexed at hatch). As far as characteristics carried over, they keep the crest and eggs size of the Legbar while maintaining the sweeter temperament of the BCM. Of our colored egg layers, I love them the most!

Olive Egger (BC1)

Check out our Facebook page for updates on this new variety. The BC1 is a F1/BCM backcross. When it comes to appearance, they look like a mirror image of their mothers!! Some with deeper copper hackles than others. They will hatch from the green eggs pictured above and 50% will carry on the brown genetics and 50% will carry the green genetics and lay an even deeper green than they hatch from. Either way you spin it, their eggs are beautiful!! 🤩

MN Mint Chip

Check out our Facebook page for updates on this new variety. They will hatch out of these beautiful speckled brown eggs and are expected to lay a spearmint/light green speckled egg! So eggcited about these!
